Sobre a vaga
As a researcher at Embrapa, based at the organization’s headquarters in Brasília, I conduct research focused primarily on the Brazilian Amazon. My work in agrometeorology includes climate analyses and the assessment of environmental conditions in agroforestry systems and integrated crop-livestock-forestry (ICLF) systems.
My research also includes topoclimatic zoning for native forest species and work with IrrigaPote, an irrigation system recognized by the Banco do Brasil Foundation as a Social Technology. I design and conduct studies, analyze data, prepare scientific publications and technical reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and national and international partners to support sustainable agricultural and forestry production.
I am also a permanent faculty member in three graduate programs: the Graduate Program in Society, Nature and Development (PPGSND); the Graduate Program in Biodiversity and Biotechnology of the BIONORTE Network (PPG-BIONORTE); and the Graduate Program in Forest Science, Technology and Innovation (PPGCTIF), a master’s program. I serve on the Scientific Committee of the Large-Scale Biosphere-Atmosphere Experiment in Amazonia (LBA) and hold a Productivity Fellowship from Brazil’s National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).
