Senior Software Engineer

Position: Senior .NET/Oracle Developer

Contract Length: 12-month contract + extensions

Location: Remote (EST hours)

*This is a PJ contract opportunity working 40 hours a week*

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience with .NET
• SQL Database Knowledge
• Oracle Database backend (PL/SQL)
• Strong English speaking

Day to Day

Insight Global seeking a Senior .NET Developer with 6–8+ years of experience to support and enhance a critical financial application built on .NET and Oracle. This role requires strong database expertise, including experience with stored procedures, SQL, and ideally Oracle PL/SQL, as much of the application’s business logic lives within the database tier. The developer will troubleshoot application and data issues, support integrations, implement small enhancements and regulatory updates, and provide critical support during month-end financial close. The ideal candidate is a strong independent problem-solver who can quickly learn an existing application. Experience with financial systems and application integrations is preferred.

Compensation:

Starting at $25/hour USD.
