The Role

We are seeking a technical Senior or Specialist-level professional to lead data, automation, and applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives within our Safety & Security team. Sitting at the intersection of Data Analysis and Project Management (PMO), this role plays a pivotal part in elevating safety standards across our entire logistics and last-mile operations—covering both directly managed riders and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.

We are not looking for someone who only builds dashboards or tracks metrics. This position requires hands-on, end-to-end ownership: diagnosing complex operational problems, querying and validating large-scale data, automating routines, and applying practical, secure, and scalable AI solutions. Beyond deep-dive analysis, you will connect findings directly to business pain points, propose concrete action plans, and drive their real-world implementation in close collaboration with the main stakeholders of the business.

Expected Profile A professional with strong technical mastery of data and a proven track record of transforming operational needs into structured, traceable, and sustainable solutions.

You must have the autonomy to define analytical approaches, validate data sources, design solutions, challenge weak assumptions, and drive technical discussions with operations, product, engineering, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop advanced analytics regarding tickets, incidents, quality, productivity, reopens, contacts, resolutions, and operational risks.
• Create and optimize SQL queries in large-scale environments, such as Hive and Spark.
• Build reliable operational dashboards, monitoring systems, and metrics.
• Investigate data inconsistencies, gaps, anomalies, and process failures.
• Develop Python automations and routines to reduce manual work and increase traceability.
• Design and implement solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents applied to operational processes.
• Build AI workflows featuring access controls, human-in-the-loop reviews, logging, traceability, and sensitive data protection.
• Document data sources, metrics, business rules, technical decisions, and known limitations.
• Serve as a technical reference for stakeholders and support data-driven strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Senior or Specialist-level experience in Data, Analytics, BI, Data Science, Automation, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills: complex joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, partitioning, and performance optimization.
• Practical experience with Hive, Spark, or other distributed data environments.
• Intermediate to advanced Python skills for automation, data validation, integration, and processing.
• Experience with BI tools and constructing executive and operational dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, and output evaluation.
• Ability to integrate AI into document, data, or operational workflows with human-in-the-loop validation and security controls.
• Solid understanding of data governance, quality, traceability, and handling sensitive data.
• Proven capacity to handle ambiguous problems, work with multiple data sources, and navigate complex business rules.
• Clear technical communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Safety, Risk, Trust & Safety, marketplaces, logistics, delivery, or customer operations.
• Familiarity with AI APIs, RAG, enterprise/controlled document search, embeddings, or AI agent evaluation.
• Experience automating critical operational processes.
• Knowledge of data quality monitoring and operational alert systems.
• A proven track record of converting ad-hoc analyses into scalable processes, dashboards, or internal products.
