Overview of the role

The WebRTC Engineer will be responsible for developing real-time communication solutions focused on performance and user experience. This role involves implementing video, audio, and data streaming features, collaborating with technical teams, and optimizing WebRTC applications for reliability and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and developing real-time communication features using WebRTC technology.
• Implementing video, audio, and data streaming solutions with focus on performance and quality.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing WebRTC applications for various network conditions.
• Collaborating with frontend and backend teams to integrate real-time communication features.
• Monitoring and improving streaming quality, latency, and connection reliability.
• Staying current with WebRTC standards and implementing best practices for real-time communications.

Requirements

• WebRTC Development: 3+ years of hands-on experience in WebRTC or real-time communications.
• Protocols and Streaming: Strong knowledge of WebRTC protocols, signaling, and media streaming.
• Technical Stack: Experience with JavaScript, WebRTC APIs, and media server technologies.
• Network and Performance: Familiarity with network protocols, codecs, and optimization techniques.
• Audio/Video Processing: Understanding of audio/video processing and real-time communication challenges.
• Language Proficiency: Advanced level of English.
