Oracle EBS Senior Developer

Position Summary

The Oracle EBS Senior Developer provides expert technical support and development for current and

future applications that generate business value for internal and external customers. The

developer will be part of a team responsible for application maintenance and management support for Air

Liquide’s operations in the Americas hub.

While the team provides 24x7 support coverage, this role operates primarily during business hours with

participation in an on-call rotation schedule as required.

This position manages the full lifecycle of development and incident management for in-scope

applications. Performance will be measured by compliance with delivery dates, code quality, and the

efficient consumption of estimated hours per task.

The ideal candidate is an autonomous senior professional capable of creating, modifying, and testing

code, scripts, and forms within the Oracle EBS R12.2.5 environment.

Working closely with business and solution experts, the Oracle EBS Senior Developer will contribute

significantly to translating business requirements into technical specifications, covering databases, user

interfaces, and reporting capabilities. This person will also collaborate with the Solutions Architecture

team to ensure alignment and compliance with standards, methods, and tools (including

• version control and agile methodologies).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Development & Optimization:

■ Perform new developments and refactor existing code to optimize Oracle applications for

performance and maintainability.

■ Recommend and design solutions using appropriately selected technologies, ensuring scalability.

■ Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems using

REST/SOAP Web Services and APIs.

■ Work with DBAs to performance tune SQL, application programs, and instances.

Analysis & Support:

■ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document technical requirements.

■ Provide Level 2 and 3 support for in-scope applications, including problem resolution and

troubleshooting.

■ Perform system analysis to identify, review, and correct errors in programs.

Process & Standards:

■ Follow and enforce change management processes.

■ Produce detailed technical documentation for all developed solutions.

■ Utilize version control tools (GIT) and ticketing systems (ServiceNow) for task management.

■ Stay abreast of the latest technological developments (frameworks, development methodologies)

to recommend efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

■ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related discipline.

■ 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle EBS development toolsets.

■ Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a contractor capacity.

Technical Requirements

■ Core Skills: Exceptional PL/SQL programming skills with a proven ability to design and develop

complex database solutions.

■ EBS Stack: Required experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, WebADI, and Form

Personalizations.

■ Modules: Strong experience in multiple Oracle EBS modules (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain,

Manufacturing).

■ Reporting: Extensive experience with Oracle BI Publisher (XML Publisher) for advanced report

development.

■ Web: Experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and APEX.

■ Database: Proficiency with schema design and implementation using Oracle relational database

technologies.

■ Tools: Familiarity with version control (Git/SVN) and CI/CD practices is highly preferred.

Language Requirements

■ English: Advanced proficiency required

■ Spanish: language ability a plus

■ French language ability a plus
