Our client matches homebuyers with third-party lenders so borrowers deal with one person instead of shopping around.

Job Description

You will work through an existing pool of inbound and warm leads by phone. Your main job is to qualify leads hard and then follow them through to funding.

You need to be sharp and assertive rather than soft-spoken. You are a closer who chases outcomes.

Responsibilities Of The Role

• Call warm leads by phone
• Qualify leads rigorously by checking credit standing, income, documents and eligibility before any lead reaches a loan officer
• Book calls with a loan officer only for genuinely qualified borrowers
• Follow up relentlessly with leads until they are ready
• Drive applications to funding by keeping borrowers moving through the application process
• Keep records current by logging every call, status change and next step

Required Experience And Qualifications

• Proven phone sales, sales development representative, inside sales or collections experience, ideally with US consumers
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Available to work US Mountain or Pacific time, full-time, for the long term
• Reliable remote setup with a quiet workspace, stable internet and a quality headset

Preferred Skills

• Experience in US mortgages, lending or financial services
• Familiarity with credit scores, debt-to-income ratio and loan documentation

• CRM software experience for logging calls and tracking the pipeline
