Role Description As a Software Engineer at OZAV, you will design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across our stack.

You will collaborate closely with product, design, and compliance teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into secure, scalable APIs and user experiences. Daily work includes implementing new functionality, refactoring and optimizing existing code, writing automated tests, and reviewing peer code to maintain quality and reliability.

You will help integrate third-party services, improve performance of mission-critical payments and wallet flows, and contribute to architectural decisions for a distributed, high-availability system. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in São Paulo, SP, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including building RESTful or GraphQL APIs, integrating external services, and working with databases.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, authentication and authorization, and data protection in financial or high-compliance environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines to deploy and monitor distributed systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly about technical trade-offs, and document solutions and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with fintech, payments, digital assets, or LATAM financial rails is a plus; comfort working in English and Portuguese is beneficial.
