Power Platform Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced RPA / Power Platform Developer to join our Automation CoE and support the migration of existing automations from UiPath to Microsoft Power Automate Desktop (PAD).

The ideal candidate must be fluent in Portuguese and English, capable of working directly with Brazil business stakeholders, gathering requirements, conducting technical discussions, supporting testing activities, and delivering reliable enterprise-grade automation solutions.

The developer will work alongside the existing automation team, including experienced RPA developers and solution architects, supporting migration, enhancements, maintenance, and new automation initiatives. The role aligns with Novelis' strategic migration from UiPath to the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities

UiPath to PAD Migration

• Analyze existing UiPath automations.
• Convert and redesign workflows into Power Automate Desktop.
• Validate functional equivalence and business requirements.
• Improve automation reliability during migration.
• Identify opportunities for simplification and optimization.
• Participate in migration planning and effort estimation.

Power Platform Development

• Develop and maintain:
• Power Automate Desktop flows
• Power Automate cloud flows
• SharePoint-based solutions
• Integrate automation solutions with enterprise systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, notifications, and exception handling.

Requirements & Business Engagement

• Work directly with business users and process owners.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions in Portuguese.
• Produce functional and technical documentation.
• Support UAT and production deployments.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Resolve production issues and defects.
• Implement enhancements to existing solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis for automation failures.
• Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
