About The Role

As a Principal Data Analyst at Hyland, you'll be a driving force behind data-informed decision-making at the enterprise level. You'll bring deep analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence leadership decisions. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who thrives on solving hard business problems, mentoring others, and shaping the future of how data is used across the organization.

Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do

• Operate as a subject matter expert on business issues and trends; create and communicate vision and strategy across the team while driving innovative ideas for establishing industry statistics and market trends.
• Collect, analyze, and oversee the development of predictive data models; develop and track metrics and dashboards and establish strategy for their utilization across the team.
• Report on findings and make enterprise-wide recommendations; summarize analyses into clear, concise, and effective presentations and deliver content across the executive level.
• Oversee the completion of data integrity audits; monitor data management procedures, facilitate the development of standards for internal documentation, and implement process improvements for the team.
• Operate as a trusted advisor and innovative thought leader; contribute significantly to the overall growth and quality of the department through knowledge sharing, coaching, and awareness of best practices and market trends.
• Mentor, coach, train, and provide timely feedback to team members; oversee guidance on how to interpret and apply data and provide leadership with meaningful input on team capabilities and development opportunities.

Role Essentials

You'll need these skills to hit the ground running:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a strong ability to collect, analyze, and develop predictive data models that drive enterprise-wide business decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel, with hands-on experience using Power BI and SQL for data analysis and visualization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics to diverse audiences, including presenting effectively across the executive team.
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to stay highly organized and successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Significant experience providing guidance and support to developing team members, with a demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and foster professional growth.
